Built to heal, Jefferson Health is setting a new standard for healthcare.

The Honickman Center at Jefferson Hospital is a beacon of innovation in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. The 19-story state-of-the-art advanced technology facility was meticulously crafted to enhance the patient experience and built with patients in mind in every detail – from sunlit, healing spaces to the convenience of accessing many care services in one facility.

Beyond consolidating a multidisciplinary clinic into a single building, Jefferson Health was looking to set a new standard for healthcare. With a focus on efficiency and flexibility for future changes, Jefferson Health sought to streamline the construction process and minimize operational costs for years to come. Our ForBuild team collaborated closely with the Jefferson Hospital, DIRTT, Stantec and LF Driscoll to compare conventional construction to modular construction costs. After exhaustive studies, the team chose to proceed with the DIRTT Construction System . Our ForBuild team implemented 8 floors full prefabricated DIRTT solutions for 350 exam rooms, 50 toilet rooms plus team rooms, storage, POC, Med Prep etc. In addition, there are 5 floors with demountable glass walls and doors installed in areas that the client decided to build conventionally.
