DIRTT Partner Camp 2024
Earlier this month, we embarked on an exciting journey to Calgary, AB, for the DIRTT Partner Camp—a gathering that brings together industry leaders to dive into innovation, training, and best practices in prefabricated construction. But this trip wasn’t just about learning—it was about recognition.
We are incredibly honored to share that Forbuild was recognized with two awards by DIRTT. We received the 2024 Best Healthcare Project Award for our work on the Jefferson Health's Honickman Center, and our very own Brendon Showalter was nominated for Partner Project Manager of the Year.
The award for the Jefferson Honickman Center is a career highlight for our team. It represents years of hard work, countless hours of collaboration, and a team effort that pushed each of us to grow. This project wasn’t just about creating a space—it was about creating a space that serves a greater purpose: improving healthcare experiences. Each step of the way, we stretched our limits, striving to ensure its success. And now, to see that work recognized on this stage is an incredible feeling.
As we look back on our team reception of the award, we can’t help but think of all the challenges we overcame—the late nights, the problem-solving, the moments where we had to lean on each other to keep going. It was all worth it. This wasn’t just a win for Forbuild, it was a win for our client, the Jefferson Honickman Center, and everyone who will benefit from the space we helped bring to life.
The energy at the DIRTT Partner Camp was contagious, and the celebration was a reminder of just how much we’ve accomplished as a team over the past year. We’re ready for what’s next and look forward to continuing to innovate, collaborate, and grow in the world of prefabricated construction.
HOW WE DO IT
When you compartmentalize major capital projects separate from the operations and maintenance functions you don’t get the full power of strategic real estate investment.

SIMPLIFYING THE PATIENT EXPERIENCE
Opened in March 2024, the Honickman Center consolidates a wide range of ambulatory services into one convenient location, directly across from Jefferson's main in-patient hospital. Previously, 19 clinics were scattered across 5-6 city blocks, making access more challenging for patients. "By bringing our outpatient practices together under one roof, we were able to simplify the patient experience, making care as seamless as possible," says Dr. Catriona Harrop, Associate Chief Physician Executive at Jefferson Health in Philadelphia. Discover how the patient-first approach at Jefferson Honickman is setting a new standard in healthcare facility innovation.
